Today’s poem features the life of Frederick Douglass. Alison’s poem is an adaptation of the Fibonacci Form ( thank you Greg!) Rather than to build the poem using the fibonacci sequence with syllables, students build the poem using words and started after the name title (1+2, 2+3, 3+5, and then the persons’ name or one word to describe the person)
Fredrick Douglass
A man
That always believed
He wanted freedom for all
“Never a beast only a slave that believed”
Fighter
