Temperatures drop
We wait for arrival of snow.
Temperatures drop
We bundle up in warm clothing.
We want to see how fast sleds go.
No fun sliding down the hill slow

We had our first snowy-icy storm of the season yesterday. Some districts closed and others like mine called for a two hour delay. While the television stations called the event “Snowvember”, there wasn’t much snow. But I wonder if this foreshadows what to expect this winter.
Happy Friday.
Happy Poetry.
Brrr…. I know that snow is inevitable, but…
Jone, Snowvember is making news all over. I wonder if you would like this poem showcased in the Finding Fall Gallery under the Snowvember theme. There are several poems that will fit. All I will need is a photo to accompany the poem. Let me know.
Jone, I love the repeated line “temperatures drop” in your poem, but in actuality I wouldn’t like it very much at all. Keep warm.
Crazy weather. Doesn’t bode well, does it? What have we done to our planet…
I hope it doesn’t foreshadow anything, Jone. Our temps were just too cold! Love the line “No fun sliding down the hill slow”. I wrote about this too, a ‘must’ capture of this surprising weather.
