One fourth grade teacher had his students research different African Americans.  Students wrote poems based on Joyce Sidman’s “What Do Trees Know?” poem in library.

  1. Thank you. This was a collaborative effort with the teacher. He had the students do the research and then I modeled the poem based on Joyce Sidman’s “What Do Trees Know?”
