Allan Barger,  WWII reading Veteran Day cards last November. He passed away in February 2016.

I just felt it appropriate to take a minute to remember those who served in the armed forces and in particular, my friend, Shirley‘s dad.

A veteran is someone who stands for our rights.
A veteran is a man that will not fall.
A veteran is someone who is in the service
A veteran is a man that may not come back
A veteran is  someone who is brave
A veteran is a man that will not go down in vain
Salute to our veterans
