Allan Barger,  WWII reading Veteran Day cards last November. He passed away in February 2016.

I just felt it appropriate to take a minute to remember those who served in the armed forces and in particular, my friend, Shirley‘s dad.

A veteran is someone who stands for our rights.
A veteran is a man that will not fall.
A veteran is someone who is in the service
A veteran is a man that may not come back
A veteran is  someone who is brave
A veteran is a man that will not go down in vain
Salute to our veterans

  1. Jone, as Robert says, “A veteran is a man that will not go down in vain.” We need to be more mindful of the great service all of our veterans provided for our country. Thanks for your Spring’s Seeds Gallery offering.
